The ultimate motorcycle adventure of Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman is just a few days ahead , The Elixir Films and Big Earth production Long Way Down is a followup of of the Long Way Round trip of 2004 that captured the motorcycle journey from London to New York via Russia, Kazakstan, Mongolia and North America . This action event will be shown in selected local movie theaters on Thursday, July 31st at 7:30pm , only on that date , if you miss that is all . Epic travel is from the top of Scotland to Capetown , South Africa on BMW motorcycles where Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman’s travel 15,000 mile in their motorcycle .This is not just an ordinary bike ride , the journey is daring , with unknown and unforgiving terrain that test their endurance, driving skills and push their friendship to the limit .
McGregor said “There is something liberating about just having what you need, on your bike,” . He added “A tent, a roll mat, a little bit of food, a bit of petrol in your tank and a vague idea of where you’re going and that’s all you need. There is something beautiful about that.”
