Portable speakers are more comfortable and a much entertaining thing , can be used in vacation , in cars and other places . Here are a list of three useful and affordable portable speakers. The first may seem a bit of a contradiction, but do consider what you get in return!
Stripy Music Studio
These speakers are light, stylish enough for any tiny party , and come with a brilliant sound. But one flip side is that it can be charged . I needs power source all the time it works .
Stripy Music Studio can do wonders if you need to equip yourself for a party at your house , or in a hotel room while you are traveling . You get two satellites plus one volume hub. The hub lights up when turned on, and you get options to control the bass and treble along with the volume.
The sound excellent . What makes it worth the deal is the output. It’s loud and clear. You can Connect it to your laptop, MP3 player, or anything that has a 3.5mm jack. It costs Rs 3,000 , price may come down soon .
Creative TravelDock 900
This is officially available through a distributor for creative products . we have word from Creative assuring us that the product is available, and soon we will update a list of places to look for.
Where they score over others is for its portability. The clamshell design feels just right, and opens to reveal a set of stereo speakers with a 3.5mm pin facing heavenward.Sound is loud and good , ensure awesome clarity. The best thing is that it uses four AAA batteries .
As of now, you can get this device for anything between Rs 4000 and Rs 5000 . The official price is Rs 6,499, kind of expensive, but then there's always going to be a premium for "good" portable speakers.
SoundPod Mini Speakers
You must have surely seen this one. It’s been around for quite a while, and I know many who have bought one. The SoundPod works on 4 AAA batteries, and is highly portable. These foldable speakers, when opened, create a little niche in the middle for your iPod or any other MP3 player.
he sound may not be comparable to the previous ones, but it’s good for some private moments. The bass, in all fairness, is just about decent; but the mids and lows are very well reproduced. If your car lacks a system, this would work well. They cost anywhere from Rs 600 to Rs 800 depending on how well you bargain.
With time, technology is only going to get better. I strongly feel the portable speakers are going to be the next big thing. If you think you can add to this list, do leave a comment below or in our forums.
